When it comes to melodic techno one can say that they know how to shine.
Fideles is a duo composed of Daniele Aprile and Mario Roberti created in 2010. The story begins back in 2005 when they have met in a small club of southern Italy. Immediately their mutual passion for music connected them and as their friendship grew they discovered a similar approach to produce music. What has made the strength of the project was the personalities of Daniele and Mario with enough differences to keep it interesting. Loyalty to the music, loyalty to the friendship this is what Fideles is about.
Chapter 2: Afterlife's onboarding
The duo acknowledges that their popularity has shifted once they have met Carmine and Matteo from Tale of Us who manage the world illustrious melodic techno imprint - Afterlife. Before, they had little exposure even if they were supported by names such as Laurent Garnier, Solomun or Pete Tong for their EP Cerchio and the iconic The Border from the label Exit Strategy. In 2017 they released Impressum - their first EP on Afterlife and a solid relationship begun with more and more released and presence on Afterlife’s events.
Chapter 3: The sound of Fideles
Fideles’ soundesign combines a heady mix of mesmerising layers, hypnotic percussion and euphoric swells. Influenced by the progressive synths from Eric Prydz or Laurent Garnier’s groovy kicks their tracks are most inspired by the environment they are plunged into. From the shores of the Ionian Sea to the cities’ vibes they have felt while touring. Fideles is a duo consistently striving for a sound that is timeless yet original.
